When my friend clicks my computer then the c:/drive the search option shows
up instead of the folders in the c: drive................

Why?

Why?

If you right-click the C:\ drive, you'll possibly find that "Search" is
in bold. Normally, "Open" is in bold.

But a right-click, followed by a click of "Open" should display the
drive properly.

Search opens when double clicking a folder: Line 18 on the right at

Click Start | Run and type or copy/paste this command:

regsvr32 /i shell32.dll

Click OK

This problem occurs when you alter the "Drive" / "File Folders" entries via
File Types dialog.
