Search & Replace / Page Down

When I do a search for a word; from then on whenever I do a Page Down or Page Up command, the document searches for the last word searched. How can I delete the search? I tried going into Search & Replace and deleting the text, yet still when I hit the Page Up or Page Down button, the document is still looking for the last word searched
 
Click on the button between the arrows and select page as the browse object.
