Search gives wrong results

Does anyone have a fix for this

Using XP's Search feature to look for files containing text, the results I ge
a) don't contain all the files they shoul
b) contain some results they shouldn'

W2K's Search feature works just fine on the same data

I can email a .zip with some samples to anyone who is interested.

XP will only search for text in file types that it has filters for. By
editing the registry, you can convince it to search through more file
types. Or you could use an alternative search tool such as Agent Ransack:
