Search feature

I am very new to Access so please excuse my ignorance. However I was
wondering if there was a search feature to find an individual number or word
in a single data base. Say I needed to find an individual part number and the
data base has 150 pages, instead of cruising pages is there any way to search
for a number say 2314 and have it go directly to that number or page it is
on. Please again forgive my ignorance.

You can use a query and set the criteria for a field and tun it.

You can open the table in datasheet view, ciclk on the tool bar Find icon
(binoculars) and enter what you are looking for. Change the Look In: to the
table name and the Match: to Any part of field.
