When doing a Search for any file/folder on Kingston Traveler USB flash
drive [F:\], the following error box titled "Compressed (zipped)
folders" appears:

"Please insert the last disk of the Multi-Volume set and
click OK to continue."

The error box contains two buttons - OK and Cancel. Niether of the
buttons will work nor
will the close icon [X] in the upper right corner. It is necessary to
do a Ctrl+Alt+Del to
remove the box.

Search does work correctly on the other 4 drives:
A:\ floppy drive
C:\ hard drive
D:\ CD drive
E:\ USB flash drive [Lexar Jump]

An alternate search program [Agent Ransack] works fine on the F:\
drive.
Any ideas why WinXP Search function stumbles on one drive only?

Have yo u tried reading the flash drive in another machine, if so ,
what were the results

I tried the flash drive in another machine [Win98SE]; the drive works
fine [as it does on my WinXP computer] and the Search function works
properly [as it does not on my Win XP computer].
