My internet explorer won't let me search anymore. I tried
all kinds of search engines like google, yahoo, and msn,
but they don't work. I am not getting error messages
either. I can click on links type in adresses, but if I
use a search engine it is a no go. I am just getting this
page all the time:

The page cannot be displayed
The page you are looking for is currently unavailable.
The Web site might be experiencing technical
difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser
settings.

Any help or good advice on where to get help would be
appreciated.

I understand that these search engines work for other
people. I am trying to find out what is wrong with my
system. Why do people reply if they don't have a
productive answer? My internet works normal except for
this problem. can anyone give some good feedback.

My friend, I'm afraid you've been infected with Trojan.qhosts (as Symantec
calls it):

Don't feel alone though. I spent a couple hours figuring out why I couldn't
access Google/Lycos, etc. Using my ISPs nameserver (via nslookup) to resolve
Google to an IP allowed access. Figured out what was going on and took care
of it; only to find out it's widespread. Oh, and Fortune City is responsible
for it. That's how myself and others contracted it.
