G Guest Dec 1, 2003 #1 Is there a way to disable the Windows XP search companion without messing with the registry?
G Guest Dec 2, 2003 #3 Thanks, Alex, but it isn't the animated character, it is the search window. It is a known problem with XP and Microsoft says I need to mess with the registry to fix it. I would rather disable the program if possible. Any suggestions?
