I have an Asrock P4 2.0ghz motherboard...model p8vt4.
With IDE connections. What I want to know is can an SCSI
CD-ROM work with this board/computer IDE connections with
some kind of adapter or something? Thanks.

Yes. Just buy a SCSI card that goes into a PCI slot. Adaptec has some low-end
cards that will work for CD-ROMs, etc.
