I'm having trouble with scroll speed. In word processor and spreadsheet both. Example Highlighting text in a word processing document. One way to do this is to put the mouse pointer where the highlighting is to begin then click and hold the left mouse button and drag the pointer down the page. If the end of the text where hilighting is desired is not on the page the page will scroll down to the next page. The trouble is that when the page begins to scroll it scrolls too fast. Before I can stop it it's ten pages too far. How do I slow down the scroll speed?

I saw something about this on Tech TV's "Call for help" last week, you might
want to check their web site. It was from a call in.
was it you?

Hi Paper 15,

What I've found is that if you put the mouse a bit below, the page, it
will scroll slow, if you put it farther away, it will scroll very
fast.

That is, the closer the mouse is to the page, the slower it scrolls.

Hope this helps
