The above subject scripten .exe has appeared on my desktop and i don't know
what to do with it..Does anyone no if i should download it?

Since its on your desktop, you've already downloaded it. The filename indicates that its the installer for the Windows Scripting Host version 5.6.

If you did not download it, delete it. If you think you need it, delete it and re-download it from the above link.

Someone apparently already downloaded it. Now it is waiting for
installation. If you didn't download it, then you should ask the person
who did why s/he wanted it.

I have just run RootKit Hook Analyzer (for Windows XP/2000/2003) on my
system...running XP Pro, Version 2002, Service PK 2...Dell Dimension
XPS_Gen_2-Intel(R)...Pentium 4CPU 3.20GHz with 1.00 GB of RAM.

Results indicate:

31 NtConnectPort / ZwConnectPort 0x866625E0 ??? Yes
122 NtOpenProcess / ZwOpenProcess 0x86D29590 ??? Yes
128 NtOpenThread / ZwOpenThread 0x86616440 ??? Yes

Should I be concerned about these active hooks? If so, what action
should I take?
