Is there a windows version of Scribus DTP
or
Can Linux be emulated on Win Xp so that I acn run Scribus DTP on say
MEPIS linux

This is answered in the Scribus FAQ... in short: no there isn't a
Windows version *yet*, but one of their developers is working on it.

In principle the Scribus source code can be compiled using Cygwin on
Windows, but that probably won't be an easy job.

Anyway, you'll find the FAQ at http://www.scribus.org.uk/, so you
can check for yourself.
