Screnn Blanking

Loaded up WinXP Home and all drivers EXCEPT all of the external USB device drivers. Screen is fine at this time. When I plug in my USB HUB, it detects my printer, scanner, CD Keeper and scanner. After all driver are loaded, my screen blacks out for maybe a second or two and then comes back like nothing happend. And it does it ALOT. Very frustrating when trying to do work. I can obviously connect the problem with the USB drivers, but wondering how to fix the problem.
