In XP, Alt-PrtScrn usually captures the current window image, which I
can later edit using a graphics program (PSP8). However, when I pause
a video clip in Windows Media Player, then try the above, the video
image is never captured properly. I assume WMP causes this
intentionally.

Any suggestions as to how I can properly capture a paused frame of a
video clip?

Thanks.

Sometimes I have to press PrintScreen 7 to 8 times to capture a single clip.
However, I have all the drivers and everything you can image is installd
properly. So, what it could it be is just a BUG in WMP.

You can also try the same method. Let us know!

I use a freeware program called MWSnap for this and it works fine on XP
w/WMP 10. Google for it.

Try the following: Control Panel > Display > Settings > Advanced >
Troubleshooting > Hardware Acceleration > None. Undo this setting
when done.
