Can someone advise me here!!

I got a mail with an attachment photo which I want to use as a screensaver.

What is the best way of doing this. I tried renaming as an .scr file but it
doesn't seem to do the trick.

thanks.

screensaver has options

right click desktop and then properties. Go to screensaver and beneath
the pic of a monitor you'll see a long box with two smaller buttons
(setting and preview) click the little arrow at the end of the box and
you'll see the choices, which should include 'my pictures slideshow'
etc etc. Click on my pictures, then on settings. click 'use pictures
in this folder' Choose the folder in which you placed the pic. If it's
on its own in the folder it should be the only one used.

There are probably easier ways of doing it though :O)

Hi Paul,
thanks there. I have tried your method but you know what? It works for the
background. Actually, I am talking about the screen saver -

Copy the picture to your My Pictures folder located in your My Documents
folder. Then select My Pictures Slideshow from the screen saver option in
display properties.

You can also make a new folder and just point the screen saver to look for
the new folder from the settings option.
