Screensaver wont start, messenger never sets to 'away'

I have a screen save configured , but it never start. Also , MSN messenger
never goes to 'away' mode, even that it is configured to do so. I am sure
that these problmes are connected. Itseems that my machine 'thinks' that
someone is using it al the time. I have ran a virus scan ( avast , symantec
online virus scan) , and also scanned my machine with adaware, spybot search
& destroy. No problems were found. I also tried to kill all the progrems that
are running in the backgournd, but it didnt help. can you help me ? thanks,

You might have a registry setting stopping it. Try the screen saver fix. see
