Screensaver does not work

I was hoping for a bit of help troubleshooting. I run
Windows XP Pro, and the screensaver simply won't
screensave. I've set the time for various times, from 1
to 10 minutes, but no matter how long I wait, the
screensaver doesn't turn on. Any ideas out there?

Something on your system is running and preventing the screensaver from
starting. There have been reports that some wireless keyboards send a
signal regularly which would do this. Personally, I think screensavers
are a waste of cpu cycles and are invasive, but if you want one, check
out what processes are running in the background and what devices are
attached to the computer.
