Hi Guys

How do I copy the screendump of Control +Alt +Delete as we are trying to
compile a manual.
 
Alt-PrintScreen will copy the active dialog to the clipboard.

If you wish you can paste this directly into a Word document, although
generally if you are creating a manual of any size/longevity you would want
to be a bit more systematic about formats, file management and so on.
 
If you want something a lot more sophisticated than Margaret's suggestion,
then look at the excellent SnagIt (which produced all the screen shots on my
web site)

And how exactly do you make a screen dump of the Ctrl+Alt+Del screen (NT
Login Screen) with SnagIt?

Remote-control a PC (VNC, TS, PCAnywhere), THEN use a screen grabber
(Alt+PrtScrn or any such program).
 
Start SnagIt.
Set the option to capture the current window.
Minimise to the system tray
Press CTRL+ALT+DEL
Display which screen you want to capture.
Press the shortcut keystroke combination to activate the capture.
Save the resulting capture as GIF.

Having just re-read your post, I think we are talking about different
screens. You cannot run an application like SnagIt that requires the user to
be in Windows when you are not in Windows.
