screen view

When ever I have anything up, internet screen, Mail etc.
Everything is to the left of the screen and I can't see
the full screen. How do I move the screen to the center.
I can't drag the edges any have tried that. There is
about a 3 inch space between the Right side of the Box and
the end of the text. Hope you can help
