screen sideways!

can anyone help with my 'pc'? while cleaning today, I cleaned the keyboard
and now my 'screen' is sideways, toolbar, screen saver everything!

Next time, clean it while the computer is off, so accidental
keypresses don't register. ;-)

Right-click on the desktop, choose Properties, then look around
for the setting to change it back.
 
Already tried that...no 'adjustment' in the properties settings 'menu'
provides for this problem...continue to help....I tried F8 and it worked for
a moment then went back to sideways.

You're just not looking in the right place. In the Display applet there
will be an Advanced button or tab (sorry, am not at a Windows machine
right now) that will then allow you to click on the Adapter tab. The
Adapter properties will have a place to set screen rotation. This is
what you want. If you have an Nvidia card, there might even be a
separate Control Panel applet for it.

Are you referring to:
Start - Control Panel - Display - Settings tab - Advanced button - Adapter
tab - "List All Modes" button, the "List of valid modes"?

You accidentally hit a combination of speed keys, rotating your
screen. I hate speed keys.

Somebody in this group must know the key combination. I've seen it
posted a number of times but forget what it is.
