My screen saver is set at 10 minutes. Once it kicks on
is stays for approximately another 10 minutes and then
defaults back to the Windows start menu. How can I
resolve this problem?

What is the problem, that the screen saver is starting or that it is
stopping? If you don't want a screen saver (and I personally think they
are a total waste of cpu cycles), then turn it off in the Display
control panel applet. If the problem is that it is stopping
prematurely, then something is "waking" up the computer when that
happens, perhaps a wireless keyboard or mouse is sending a signal,
perhaps someone is touching the mouse. Can't really tell you - you'll
have to do some Sherlocking yourself.
