screen resolution

hi, i recently had to reinstall windows xp (by repair
option)after which i found that i could not increase the
screen resolution which is set permanently to 800.
any ideas?

REinstall the video drivers. The latest, which may not be the best
choice, should be available from the chip or card manufacturer's WEBsite.

If you are unfamiliar with this process, ask for help from a tech or a
friend who is.
