Screen pop-up

I keep getting an annoying pop-up that reads
"Reminder--Day and Date--" followed by "This page cannot
be displayed, please try the following" and then some
directions. I don't understand the problem, because I can
continue with the computer, but there is no direct way
to delete the pop-up.When I press ctrl/alt/del and bring
up the Window Task Manager, the pop-up title is listed
there. Pressing End Task removes the title from the list,
but the pop-up still appears periodically on the monitor
screen. Would welcome advice on how to delete. Thanks

Hmmm....do you ever run an anti-spyware program? Unexplained
popups are often a result of some kind of malware that
was unexpectedly installed on your system via internet usage.
If you stop the process and it reappears, another file is likely
regenerating it, which they often do. Just a thought.

Try using Spybot S&D, running a scan, and removing spyware that is detected.
