Hi Don,
Did you install and update your Vedio Card driver from the Manufacturer of
VD not MS updates?.
Also your mother board drivers is the latest one for your Motherboard Specs?.
HTH.
Please let us know if this was helpful for you.

Hi Nass
tks for the reply, one reason i re installed was to get rid of all the crap
i had put on the sys. it is really nice to see a large amount of avail mem
now and do not want to just download all kinds of drivers etc. its a compac
presario 2100 laptop.
i think i had this prob before but cant remem how to solve. the pg up \ down
buttons give a smooth and quick change to the page viewed but not scroll
buttons

Hi don,
But these Updates not crap they are the main Manufacturer whom you are using
their Hardware/Software!.
Right click on your Desktop and select Properties and click on Advanced tab
look down and click on Advanced Button and see if you have the Right Graphics
Card and do your setting and check your monitor.
I realy don't have other option to tell.

nass
