Screen hogging information boxes--how to get rid of

In Vista Home Premium every time I do a simple move or delete or copy of a
file or groups of files or folders, up pops a box telling me what I just told
it to do and telling me how long it is going to take. It pops up in the exact
middle of my screen and usually won't move, whether I click behind it or try
and move it with my mouse. Usually there is no shrink button, either. Is this
Windows idea of multi-tasking, preventing me from doing anything until the
info box goes away?

Is there any way to move it out of the way, shrink it, or make it pop up on
someone else's monitor--say Bill Gates's, just not mine?

I am hating Vista more and more each day. It is too cutesy and stupid, like
the dumb blonde trying to get your attention at a party.

Steve Jobs would like to have your rants directed at his products. I have
heard so many complaints in the past years: "how come it didn't warn me ehen
I said delete?" My neighbor has an old computer running Windows 3.11. He
might want to sell it?

I say your problem is PEBKAC.

Problem Exists Between Keyboard And Chair.

Obviously you either have crappy hardware, or you don't know what you're
doing, or both.
