Print Screen captures the image to your windows clipboard.

To do anything with it, you need to go into Paint, Word,
or other graphics-capable programs and paste the capture.
Be sure you haven't done any purposeful copy/cut actions
since you hit Print Screen or else you've lost the capture.

Hi Ray,

Open paint and choose Edit, then paste.

Greetings --

As it does in all versions of Windows, pressing the <PrtScn> key
copies the entire display to the clipboard. Pressing <ALT>+<PrtScn>
copies only the active Window to the clipboard. To view the screen
capture, open a graphics program, such as MS Paint, and press
<CTRL>+V. This will paste the contents of the clipboard (your
screenshot) into the open file, and allow you to view it or save it as
a file for later use.
