Scopy worked great to copy files and folders between NT 4.0 servers and keep
the permissions intact. I cannot seem to get it to work on 2000. I tried
using xcopy and it will not keep the permissions. I am trying to copy files
as a domain admin from one server to another using the correct switches.
What am I missing. Is there something better out there to use? Free
preferably. Thanks!!

Robocopy from the Windows 2000 Resource Kit works great.

Xcopy does have some switches. I think /o /K /Y will keep
the ACL info (Permissions, owners, etc).

But if you got it working no probs. I just can't get the
task to schedule overnight.
