Hi,
I need a field on my form that contains current schoolyear...
Now we are in the schoolyear 2006-2007.
Over here a schoolyear runs from september to june of the following year
so, when the current date is sept 02 2007 the entryfield should change
into 2007-2008...
Hope I explain it correctly

=IIf(Month(Date()) Between 9 And 12, Year(Date()) & "-" & Year(Date())+1,
Year(Date())-1 & "-" & Year(Date()))

The above treats the summer holiday period as part of the previous school
year, e.g. after the end of June 2007, it will continue to display
'2006-2007' until 1st September. You'll need to modify it if you want to
treat the summer holiday period differently.
