How does your computer connect to the school network? I wonder if you're in the
same network as the library computers. If I were a network admin, I would
certainly setup 2 (or 3, or 4) separate networks.
1) School administrative.
2) School public access (ie library).
3) Guest public (ie students).
4) Guest trusted public (ie teachers).
Has the school provided any instructions for using the school network? Does the
school tell you that you should be able to access assignment servers from your
personal computer? Is there a school tech assistant to help you?
Do "ipconfig /all" on your computer, when connected (as it is now). Do
"ipconfig /all" from the library computer. Let's take a look at the
differences.
I'd be surprised if you could run browstat on the library computer, but it would
be interesting if your could.
