based on the timing of your request and the lack of additional clues, I
would say that you ran into the issue where a FAT32 partition and DST
time change settings conspire to break the password set for task
scheduler. Quick fix is to reset the task and resupply the password.
It could be a WinXP issue, as Bob said: If the system volume uses FAT32
then all scheduled jobs would fail after the time change at the end of
October.
