Scheduled Task creation gets error "0x8009000f: object already exists"

Windows XP sp1 workstation task scheduler gives the following error dialogue
box when i create or edit any job :
"General page initialization failed. The specific error is: 0x8009000f:
Object already exists." Any help appreciated.
