scheduled scans

the scheduling of spyware scans appears to be off--I set
it to scan every Friday at 6 pm and instead it's scanning
every Wednesday at 6 pm EST. I've checked the clock
settings on my PC and they're OK.

This is the only feature that does not seem to be working
correctly. Quite a few of the postings here are about
problems in scheduled scans. Mine is scheduled for 9:00
every Monday but, twice now, it has not run at all and I
have to do a manual scan and, nope, I do NOT have the

My experience has been the same, that is, the scheduled
scan runs two days earlier that expected - in my case,
the scheduled scan ran this morning (Saturday) at 8:00 am
although I had set it up to run at 8:00 am on Mondays.

Thanks for these reports.

The scheduler is definitely buggy, and Microsoft is aware of these issues.
Let's hope that a further beta, which should be forthcoming, shows some
improvement in this area.
