Schedule emails to send on future date?

Is there a way to enter a future date & time that you want an email sent from
your outbox?

"Send Later" just means not to send it right now. It is useful for those who
normally use the setting Send Immediately, but want to make a one-time exception.
There is no timed sending feature.

Since there is no option to select a later date or time, it is just an option
in the file menu that does nothing.

I tested sending mail to myself and selecting send later. I also sent
another e-mail to myself and they went into the outbox together and were sent
together too.

Just one of the mysteries of MSM that have driven me to reinstall my Outlook
2007 and I am migrating over to that when I have the mail delivery bugs
worked out.

MSM is not an adequate replacement for Outlook. It is a minimally featured
product with no option to upgrade or improve it.

Windows Mail is the replacement for Outlook Express, not Outlook.
It has not been updated since the original release of Vista, and has been
deprecated in favor of the newer Windows Live Mail.

That is odd because I contacted Microsoft and was told that 2007 was the last
year for Outlook.

I would be very happy if that is wrong. They didn't mention Outlook
Express. I do know the difference.

Thanks though.

It's not an option that does nothing. It is a one-shot deferral of an immediate send.
Send Later means it will get sent when the next automatic or manual Send occurs.

Windows Mail is a free email program. As such it should not be compared with
a premium cost email program like Outlook. Most users do not need the
advanced features available in Outlook.

You were told wrong. Outlook is one of Microsoft's cash cows.
They will never abandon it.
