It may depend on what kind of scanning software and OCR reader you
use. When I use FineReader, by default it saves the Word files into a
folder under C:\Program Files\FineReader\. So you might check your
scanning and OCR programs for your Word files.

|They get filed wherever you put them. There's no magic involved. Word
|doesn't DO anything here. Just saves your documents in the folder you
|select.

|You can use search (on the Windows Start menu) to find them ... look for
|"*.doc" modified in the past week or so.
