Hope someone can help me... I have a PBell Diamond 2400 plus flatbed scanner
and since I restored my system back to its original state a few weeks ago,
although last night was the first I had to use it. When I select preview I
get an error message: An error occured during preview. If the scanner is
being used, please wait for it to complete the task and then select preview.

Also I tried for fist time to burn a DVD but all the software I tried kept
telling me it was unable to burn.

Please let there be someboday who can help me with these
issues.......TIA!!!!!!!

Thanx

Grace

Even though the devices are connected, drivers may not be installed or
may be corrupt.
Right click MyComputer on the Desktop.
Click Properties > Hardware tab > Device Manager button.
Click once on the very topmost item, should be a computer/monitor icon.
Above that on the toolbar click the computer/monitor w/magnifying glass to
search for any new/added hardware devices.

If it doesn't find any new:
Click the + (plus) next to DVD/CD-ROM drives to expand the list.
Are any dvd/cd drives present? If so:
Does it have any conflict shown by having a RedX or Yellow! ? If so:
Double click it to open it's properties and under the General tab look at
the status.

Do the same as above for the scanner. I don't recall how it's listed or
where since I removed mine long ago, but you may have to expand a few
devices such as Human Interface, USB, SCSI and Raid Controllers or it may
simply be on it's own as Scanner.

Post your results in a response in this thread.
