Can someone pls remind how to do the scndsk again, I have forgotten.

No such utility in XP. Chkdsk /? at the command line will display the
comparable options.

Follow this:(Win XP)
.1.Click on MY Computer
Click to expand...
2.Right click your C drive
3.open properties
4.click TOOLS
5.Under ERROR CHECKING click the CHECK NOW
