Scan Disc

Everytime I boot up scan disc checks for errors because an
illegal shutdown occured.( Usual blue screen message ) It
tells you to press esc to skip but mine automatically
cancels and boots up as normal!! This happens even when I
shutdown normally!! I would like to scan my disc for
errors now and again but this either wont let me or
somethings turned on to make it skip. Any Thoughts ??

There is no scandisk in xp.I think that you are in the wrong newsgroup?
