If you make your house payment through Chase Manhattan, beware they
associated themselves with Trilegiant (<< The fake Indian corporation).
They will suck you additional $35/month on top of your house payment
without you knowing it.
How did they do this?
Well they would send you reward check $4 or a $2.50 check through Chase
Manhattan mortgage statement, with no warning on the back of the check.
Once you signed it, later they printed warning saying "Signing this check
means you agreed to buy their nothing program etc.."
Before you will know this it will take you at least a year or so.. Your
mortgage will keep increasing month after month, then your Chase Manhattan
will say that it's your property taxes that is increasing. The
truth is, Chase Manhattan is as dirty as those cooks from Trilegiant.
I lost $200 from this scam and I stopped doing business with Chase
Manhattan.
