I recently updated norton antivirus definitions and I think they sent me a couple other files too. The system loocked up
when it was supposed to restart. When I turned it off and restarted I got the message:
"C:\WINNT\system32\drivers\SAVRTPEL.SYS device driver could not be loaded error
status was 0xc000012f" I found mention of this staus code relating to some other driver named mxlw2k
with the instructions to start using the w2000 CD, and run a repair to disable that mxlw2k.sys file.
However, is that what I should do for this case? I have no clue what SAVRTPEL.SYS is for
