Saving XP updates to CD

Just spent an hour downloading all the updates to Service pack 2. I would
like to save these to a cd. I have saved service pack 2 to a cd.

How can I do this.

To do that you would need to use Windows Catalog and download the
individual packages for each KB #. I have to carry the 70+ individual
updates on a Flash drive for customers who do not have Broadband. At
one time Microsoft offered a Security update disk that included patches
beyond the last Service Pack. Haven't seen one of those in some time.

Have the updates already been installed? If so then you can't recover the
installation files. There are two ways to go about it. Prior to installing
go to the widows update site, choose the custom scan, then follow the link
for each update for more info. That will take you to the tech bulletin or
knowledge base article for each update and on those will be the link to
download the individual update file. Download and save to CD.

Otherwise you have to use the windows update catalog to find and download
the individual updates.

Download them individually - manually - and save them to CD...
