Saving Versions

I am using the Reviewing Toolbar to save as Versions.
When a file has versions saved on it sometimes these are
lost on e-mailing. I know there is a problem with e-
mailing straight from Word but it also sometimes happens
when added as an attachment in Outlook. The versions are
there on the first computer but not there on arrival after
e-mailing.
 
Actually, you'd be well advised not to use the Versions feature. It tends to
increase the chances of corruption. There's a little more info here,

But basically Word stacks all the different versions up at the end of your
doc and all it takes is one little error to corrupt the entire thing. Much
safer to do Save As... File#5.

If you insist, zipping the file before emailing it usually helps prevent
problems.
