saving sound

When saving a show to a CD, the sound (a song that plays
throughout) does not play. How do I keep the song in the
presentation?

You must include the sound file on the CD, since most likely it is linked and
not embedded in your presentation. See:

Also place the sound in the same folder as the presentation even before you
insert it within the presentation. Then when you copy it to the CD,
PowerPoint won't have to look far from the same folder as the presentation.
