I have a powerpoint that I want to save on a CD. I have saved the same
presentaion on CD at least three times. I have tired copying it directly to
the CD and copying to a folder and it still doesn't work. I know it is not my
CD drive because it is new and is functioning-the only thing I can't get it
to do is put my presentaion on a CD. Does anyone have any ideas of what I can
do? Thanks.

Save the PowerPoint Presentation to your Hard Drive, then use your VD
burning software to copy the file to the CD. Or, if you want to make an
autorun CD then check here. http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00037.htm

Saving directly to CD has its perils. If you've saved several times to the
*same* CD, it may be full ... it may look as though there are no files on it but
it can still be full if you've used it several times.

To narrow down the problem:

- Save your PPT to a folder on the hard drive if you haven't done so already
- Put a brand new blank writable CD in your CD burner
- Use your CD burning software, not a Windows copy operation, to burn your PPT
to the cd
- Report back in the morning and let us know how that went
