saving pics

For some reason unknown to me I am not able to save
animated pictures as gifs, i only get the bmp opton and
if used the gif loses its animation.File names end in gif
but when i right click "save picture as" the only choice
is bmp. Example is
http://www.geocities.com/warrnhu/garf/cgarf1.gif.

Hi,
A full cache or a cache which contains some damaged files can cause this.
Clear the IE cache from IE> Tools> Internet Options> General> Delete files
and Delete offline content. Reset the TIF folder size to about 50MB
(Settings button) and clear it occasionally.
