Saving Page Setup for different machines

1. I have a series of Access 2003 reports saved with

Specific Printer : Adobe PDF
All Margins: 0
Page Width: 8.0

2, However, when I transfer app to other machines, settings revert to those
of that machine when reports run. Not even the usual message that 'Your
printer is not the one....',

3. Is there a way to preserve these settings?

Is it the use of the AdobePDF or the zero margins that is causing settings
not to be saved?

Thanks.

Alan

Almost all printers have a minimum margin width - sometimes it is only a
..0165 but that is still greater than 0.

If the reports settings are less than the minimum then the settings will
"revert", unless the other computers have the same printer available.

John,

The other computers have Adobe PDF available, same V7, but Adobe PDF is not
default printer on those computers.

1. Adobe PDF accepts margins of exactly 0, and this indeed gets saved on my
computer with Adobe PDF set as default printer.

2. When printed to Adobe, and PDF comes up on screen, it indeed has 0
margins.

3. The zero marginns are needed for the format outside commercial printing
company requires.

4. Hence, I still need to find out if there is a way to:
---------------------------------------------------

A. Send the app, which has reports saved with Adobe PDF zero margins, to
another computer
B. When the app is opened on another computer whose default printer is not
Adobe PDF, but has Adobe PDF driver installed, have those reports keep there
zero margins for Adobe PDF.

Is there code with which I can force the choice of AdobePDF Printer and set
margins to Zero?

Thanks.
