saving in CSV - data moves to single column

When create a new file in excel with multiple columns and save as CSV,
when I re-open everything moves to the A column. How do I prevent
this?

What Dave is saying nicely is please don't post the same question in two places in a
newsgroup (or in two Excel newsgroups). This has the unintended consequence of causing
people to work on something that has been worked on in the other post. And the discussion
winds up fragmented.
