I figured out how to link my hotmail account through
outlook, but when I delete emails in hotmail it also
deletes them on the outlook. How can I store my hotmail
messages in outlook and then delete them in my hotmail
account to save some of the storage space since there is
a limit in hotmail?

Hi,

You can create a separate personal Folder file inside your Outlook and then
save messages in your Hotmail by right clicking on the message and then
Select Move to folder and then move the message to a folder inside the
personal folder. By this way u can have the required messages inside Outlook
forever.

Hope this helps !!!

I don't know what version of Outlook you're using but Outlook 2002
will not allow you to move Hotmail messages out of Hotmail folders. I
copy the message from the Hotmail folder into an appropriate Outlook
personal folder, then delete the message from the Hotmail folder.

automatically.
