Saving error on network

When I open a word or excel file on network (mapping drive), when I
tried to Save As a new file (On network drive as well), the errors
occur.
Any one know what the error means?

When you open a XL file off a network, and work on it, and during that time
there is a break or hit in the network connection..........then XL "loses
it's way back home", and the file cannot be saved, as such. This may be what
is happening. Try opening the file and immediately doing the SaveAs, or
better yet, just copy and paste the file to your local drive. I once worked
at a place where there was constant network hits and this was a commom
problem.
