Is there a way to retain the date information when you do a batch save from
outlook into a directory on a server or your hard drive. When I select an
email out of outlook and drag and drop into a specific folder the date
changes to the date I copied the email.

The date on the message has no bearing on the date recorded by the file
system. Naturally the file system will record a date when the file is
created.

Perhaps there is a tool you can download that will allow you to set the date
as recorded by the file system to some value you want.
