I write manuscripts and stories. I would to save them to a CD. But I'm new
to computers. How do I save text or words from my manuscripts to a CD?
You're asking in the wrong place. The "Access" in this group's name refers to
the Office Pro database software package Microsoft Access.
That said - your manuscripts must have been written with some word processing
program such as Word. The manuscript is stored on your disk - probably with a
..doc extension to its name. Open the program that you use to write; and look
at the file list. You'll see the files' names.
Now open My Computer and find the "folder" containing your file. Right
mouseclick on the file name and choose "Send To"; from the list of places you
can send it, choose "CD writer" or whatever your computer offers in that vein.
Of course you must have a CD disk read/write drive installed on your computer
to do this.
