I have prepared a power point presentation with animation
on some of the slides, when i save the presentation onto
the memory stick for use in a projector, the animation
does not work. Can anyone tell me how to save animation
onto a memory stick?

Dawn,

Unless the projector in question, some how has "powerpoint" embedded in side
it, then it's not going to work.

It sounds like your projector can only display static images from the memory
stick. e.g. show this image, show the next image etc etc.

Dawn:
To try to expand on TAJ's answer:
1) If you're trying to give the presentation from the Memory Stick
then your animations will 'not' show up
2) The device that is "processing" the presentation (in this case the
projector) needs to have PowerPoint installed to show animations
3) If you use a PC 'connected-to' the projector, then the PC
"processes" the PowerPoint presentation and you get the lovely
animations.

Bottom line:
EVERY Computer-less Presentation configuration that "I" have seen is
NOT going to show animations...only static "Pictures"

This is going to come-up more often, (IMHO) because I'm seeing more
devices espousing (fancy Yankee word for "preaching") the benefits of
"computer-less" presentations...

SteveR: Maybe a new point for the FAQ?
